The MSA 190 T is a powerful top-handle chainsaw designed for use by professional arborists. It has been designed for small to medium pruning tasks, such as crown maintenance and removing dead wood. Designed with professionals in mind, it has comparable power to the petrol MS 194 T and offers a lower weight alternative to the STIHL MSA 220 T battery-powered top-handle chainsaw.
With excellent power-to-weight ratio, this chainsaw is comfortable to use over long periods of time and is compact and perfectly balanced in its design – when used with the AP 200 S battery, it counterbalances the guide bar for effortless control and reduced wrist strain.
The MSA 190 T has a high chain speed of up to 20 m/s which makes it ideal for fine and precise cuts. The bumper spikes help to fix the chainsaw in place on wood, making precise cuts easy. And as the chainsaw is battery-powered, it means it can be used in noise sensitive areas such as around schools, hospitals and residential areas.
Fitted as standard with the 1.1mm 3/8” P PS3 Pro saw chain and Light 01 guide bar for increase performance. An eyelet accessory is available separately which allows the MSA 190 T to be carried easily alongside the operator’s belt carabiner. Like most AP System tools, the MSA 190 T is IPX4 rated meaning it can be used in all types of weather conditions.
With a fully charged AP 200 S battery, the MSA 190 T has a working time of up to 48 minutes. The AP 200 S battery provides the best balance to weight ratio for the MSA 190 T. For longer working times, you can use the AP 300 S or AP 500 S battery - although this will affect the balance.
Must be used with AP200S, AP300S or AP500S battery for full performance.
